Lynn Academy of Music and Performing Arts is a new venture led by David and Lynsey Lynn - a music school which caters for all. We provide singing and piano lessons for exams, guitar lessons, and a musical theatre stage school. We intend to be a place where students and instructors alike can thrive and make the most of their talents. Every year, we gladly welcome creative and passionate students from all walks of life, both young and old.
David and Lynsey have a vast amount of performing and teaching experience, both being professional opera singers, and achieving Masters in Performance. Lynsey was the leading singing teacher and administrator of Mezzo Music Academy, Dublin from 2010-2016. David was the Music Director for the Performing Arts Academy, Celbridge from 2011-2016, and has held singing teaching posts in the Mercy Convent, Navan, and St Finians, Mullingar.

Our children joined the Lynn Academy of Music in January 2021. COVID restrictions meant that piano lessons were online. Any concerns about how ZOOM lessons would work were quickly put to rest by David after just one lesson. David's professionalism, yet relaxed approach with the children is excellent. His praise and encouragement ensures that they are eager to practise so they can show him what they have learned each week!
they also attended online theory class with Lynsey every Friday. Lynsey's patience in explaining music theory, online, to a group of absolute beginners is truly admirable. She encourages all of the children, in turn, to participate in the class, even if they are unsure of the answers. The added incentive of Student of the Week encourages them all to do their best. We highly recommend Lynn Academy of Music to anyone, both young and old, who is interested in singing or learning to play an instrument.
